Q - Bill, you have one of our Tactile Sound Tables with a hydraulic lift. How is it working out for you?

A - The sound table makes massage so much more relaxing for my clients as well as myself. It also draws new clients to me as well. The clients I work with are my best way of marketing.

Q - How has owning the Tactile Sound Table changed things for you?

A - The table makes my work so much easier because my clients are totally relaxed even before I begin my work.

Q - Can you share some of the comments and reactions by your clients in regards to their sessions on the Tactile Sound Table?

A - My clients often say they feel as if they were "somewhere else" or just go away from themselves. I find that quite a few even fall asleep and say that the time just flew by. They can't wait for a return visit.

Q - What type of bodywork / modalities do you do and how does the sound table help you do that work?

A - Deep Tissue is what I do the most. I let my clients lay on the table for a while before I start. Their bodies are so much more relaxed when I begin session. The Native American Spiritual work is also influenced with the music and sound waves that are used along with the scents of the herbs.

Q - What kind of setup do you have with your table in your treatment room?

A - Just the basic package set up that is offered with the table. It works very well for me and allows me to get more connected with my client. Once in a while I will use headphones to isolate my clients.

Q - What music do you like to use?

A - I like Liquid Mind CDs as well as the Hemi-Sync CDs. The Native American music works very well also, especially the drums. Also the Harp seems to "Glue" my clients to the table.

Q - You mentioned to me that you also use frequencies with your work. Can you please tell us about that?

A - The frequencies are an added bonus. I run them through the computer and overlay my music with them. They work very well by themselves as well. I will use Frequencies at first to get my clients relaxed, and then add in the music during my sessions.

I had a female client when I was located in St. Louis. She came to see me because she was looking for an alternative treatment for facial spasms, which she currently was taking botox injections to control. We talked about the use of frequencies along with some relaxing music played through the sound table. I came up with a plan to use frequencies of 57.2 to 64 Hz. After four, one-hour sessions with the sound table combined with massage, she was able to stop the injections. All though the spasms did not cease, they became less frequent and more manageable to live with. She continues to see Cindy Goodnetter for treatments at A Gathering Place in St Louis, and is doing quite well. I will use the frequencies on myself and believe me, Liquid Mind with 60Hz mixed in feels really Great!

Q - Would you say that the sound table has helped to increase your Client base?

A - Definitely! The Sound Table creates a lot of interest wherever and whenever I share about it, people want to come over and experience it. I have recently relocated to Sedona. I have started receiving clients here and use the table for massage and energy work. All the clients have planned to return, and have asked for a few business cards to pass out to friends. I believe this (sound table) is a tool that will only continue to grow.

Q - How do you market the table?

A - Basically, by word of mouth. At first, I would tell people about having the table. My clients are my biggest way of marketing. They tell friends or co-workers and it just builds on itself.

Q - Trisha, is there anything else you would like to share with us?

A - The Tactile Sound Table is one of the best Massage tools I have ever worked with. My clients leave happy and feeling fantastic. They can't wait to come back. It also relieves the pressures that I put on my body. I find that once the clients are on the table, my work is quite easy as well as soothing for me. I would like to see more Therapists utilize this wonderful method of therapy.
